È il terzo birrificio più grande della Germania, con una produzione di circa 4 milioni di mwegettolitri all'annocite-ref-2[2]cite-ref-birr-bitb-3-0[3].

La Bitburger ha circa 900 rappresentanze in Germania e all'estero. I prodotti vengono venduti in 70 paesi e in più di 50.000 locali e ristoranticite-ref-bitb-inos-4-0[4]. Le principali regioni d'esportazione sono l'mwiaItalia, gli mwiqStati Uniti d'America, il mwigRegno Unito e la mwiwSpagna.

Il prodotto più importante del birrificio è la birra chiara mwkwBitburger Premium Pilscite-ref-bitb-bitb-5-0[5], è tra le birre alla spina più vendute in Germaniacite-ref-storia-1-1[1]cite-ref-book-worl-6-0[6].

Inoltre viene prodotta una versione leggera, la "Bitburger Light" e una versione analcolica, mwoqBitburger 0,0%. Nel 2005 è stata introdotta anche mwogBit Sun, una birra chiara meno amara derivando dal prodotto classico. Vengono prodotte anche varie mwowBier-Mix, birre con diversi gusti come limone o mwpaCachaça.
